Summer Practices
In order to be able to carry out the SGK notifications regarding the 2024-2025 Academic year summer term internships regularly and without causing administrative fines, we present the following points for your information as a reminder. The relevant current forms and documents are also attached.
Thank you for your help and support in the SGK transactions regarding internships.
- In your departmental internship applications, the article titled Internship of the Applied Training Framework Regulation in Higher Education, published in the Official Gazette dated June 17, 2021 and numbered 31514 and presented in the attachment; should be taken into consideration.
- Using the current version of the intern student information form, which is also presented in the attachment, the information in the form to be used in the SGK notifications should be filled in completely and without errors. (Course code, English abbreviations and YY/MM/DD date format should not be used)
- SGK notifications are made weekly. Corrections or cancellations can be made before the legal period (internship start date) granted in the system. Cancellation or change processes after the legal period (internship start date) cannot be done online. Therefore, the request must be submitted in writing via EBYS to form the basis for change or cancellation.
-After the SGK job entry and exit notifications are prepared by us, they can be accessed by students via the SGK's "4A Job Entry-Exit Notification Inquiry" page via their e-government accounts.
-There must be at least a 3-day gap between the two internships of students who have to do two internships.
-Same-day and past SGK notifications and notifications not made within the legal periods result in administrative fines. Therefore, intern student information forms must be submitted in advance with a later date.
-With the regulation made, the work of foreign students other than their compulsory internships has been excluded from the work permit exemption. Therefore, foreign students must obtain a work permit from the relevant Ministry regarding their optional internships.
- The contribution form to be submitted for the İŞKUR-YÖK-State Contribution application has been updated upon the request of YÖK and the updated form in the attachment must be used. The necessary conditions and information for students applying for contribution payment must be checked and submitted by confirming the payment receipts of the student's fee payment at the end of the internship period.
-Students working as Part-Time Students in our University Departments or Units must leave their positions for their internships at least 1 week before the internship start date.
